Police investigate after woman stabbed in Saskatoon

Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old woman suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound; she was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital for further treatment.

SASKATOON - A woman is facing charges relating to an aggravated assault Monday afternoon in Saskatoon.

At approximately 1:10 p.m. on Oct. 28, police received a report of an injured person in the 800 block of Idylwyld Drive North.

Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old woman suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound; she was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital for further treatment.

Shortly after, officers located a 29-year-old woman suffering from what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries; she was arrested in relation to the aggravated assault investigation.

Two other males were also arrested.

Upon further investigation, officers learned there was an argument between the women, which led to a physical altercation.

As a result, a 29-year-old woman is facing charges relating to aggravated assault.

Police are continuing to investigate.
