The chief of Red Pheasant First Nation was back in court again Monday.

Stewart Baptiste was in court facing a charge of failing to comply with a probation order under the criminal code. He appeared in North Battleford provincial court.

The Crown has agreed to his release, however, under the condition he keeps the peace and maintains good behavior, abides by a curfew and does not possess alcohol or intoxicants, among others.

Baptiste, who has been in court on a variety of charges over the past several months and still faces trial for impaired driving next year, is due back in court Nov. 19 on the latest charge.
