Suspect charged after report of man pulling out knife at business

A 31-year-old man is facing charges relating to assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and carrying a weapon dangerous to public peace.

SASKATOON - A man was arrested Wednesday morning following a weapons complaint at a business in Saskatoon.

At approximately 9:10 a.m. on Sep. 18, police received a report of a man pulling out a knife at a business in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue North.

Upon arrival, officers located a man matching the description of the suspect. He was arrested on scene without further incident. Upon further investigation, officers located a large piece of steel believed to be the weapon used in this incident.

As a result, a 31-year-old man is facing charges relating to assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and carrying a weapon dangerous to public peace.
