North Battleford RCMP are currently investigating a complaint of a suspicious person.
Shortly before 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1, a12-year-oldgirl walking alone in the area of the 1200 block of 104th Street noticed a dark-coloured truck following her.
When the girl made an attempt to lose the vehicle in an alley, the truck followed her and, at one point, the truck stopped and the driver was reported to have exited the truck and made his way toward the girl.
She ran to a business and contacted police.
The vehicle is described as a large black or possibly blue truck, with an orange stripe spray painted on the side and front of it.
Police do not have any descriptors of the male at this time.
The girl is safe and police are currently conducting patrols for the suspicious vehicle. Anyone with any information is asked to call the North Battleford RCMP at 306-446-1720 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-454-1212 (TIPS).
