Two men arrested after home break in

Two men face multiple charges after a break in at a North Battleford residence Thursday. Charged are Kevin Richard Petit and Tyson Ternell Mosquito.

Two men face multiple charges after a break in at a North Battleford residence Thursday.

Charged are Kevin Richard Petit and Tyson Ternell Mosquito. Petit is charged with break and enter to commit robbery, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest and uttering threats to cause death. Mosquito is charged with break and enter to commit robbery.

Both were remanded and were to appear in North Battleford provincial court Friday morning, according to a news release from Battlefords RCMP,

RCMP say they received a 911 call from a residence on the 1000 block of 108th Street with respect to a break and enter in progress. RCMP arrived and spoke to the victim who indicated two males had broken in with weapons and were demanding money. The victim did not have any money and the two men left. While police were speaking to the victim, the males returned to the residence. One was arrested while the other fled on foot. The second male was arrested a short time later with the assistance of a police dog.

No one was hurt during the incident. Police say the investigation continues.
