The North Battleford Beavers sit just two games over .500 after losing their fourth game in the last five meetings.

The Beavers were in Lloydminster to resume their North Saskatchewan River Baseball League schedule with a game against the Lloydminster Junior Redhawks.

The Redhawks had a strong pitching performance and won 10-2 over the Beavers. The loss moves the Beavers into seventh place at 6-4. The Redhawks sit second with a 10-1 record.

Other games from Monday night had the St. Walburg Reds losing a close one 4-3 to the Midwest Expos. The Expos are tied for ninth with a 4-7 record. St. Walburg is still winless at 0-11.

The Border City Blue Jays were in Mervin and won 8-3 Monday night. The Jays sit fifth at 7-4 while the Flyers are tied with the Expos at 4-7.
