With the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s recent announcement of a return to play, the Battlefords North Stars have announced some key dates in the lead up to the 2021-22 season.
They have announced that the weeks of Aug. 16 to 20 and 23 to 27 will be turned over to the North Stars Hockey School. Participants can sign up for either week, and North Stars players will be assisting with drills and dry-land training. Aug. 27 and 28 the North Stars will host their fall camp, and Aug. 29 the North Stars will hold their annual Black and White game at 2 p.m. at Access Communications Centre, featuring the top 40 players from camp.
Sept. 24 is of course the key date as the SJHL season begins on that day. The North Stars organization expects to release more information on the season on their social media channels.
