PRINCE ALBERT - One woman was arrested Thursday afternoon following a call for service to a house fire.
On April 24 at approximately 12 p.m. police were called to the 500 block of 12th Street East for a report of a mischief in progress.
Initial information stated a female allegedly started a house on fire.
Shortly after, officers located a female matching the suspect description in the 500 block of 11th Street East; she was then arrested without further incident.
The Prince Albert Fire Department also attended and extinguished the fire.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
As a result, the 40-year-old woman has been charged with arson causing damage to property.
