SASKATOON - A Saskatoon man is facing a number of firearms charges following a call to Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) yesterday evening.
At approximately 8 p.m., Jan. 12, patrol officers were dispatched to a weapons call at an apartment building in the 1700 block of 22nd Street West.
All occupants were taken into custody from inside the suite.
Two, loaded, sawed-off shotguns were located inside and seized by police.
No injuries occurred during the incident.
A 25-year-old man is facing five firearms-related offences and breach of probation.
