Gordon Glen Bradley, of Warman, SK, formerly of Assiniboia, SK, passed away April 2, 2025 at age 81.
Gordon was born March 24, 1944 in Moose Jaw, SK and raised on the family farm in the Willow Bunch district. He attended school at Dutch Hollow and Willow Bunch. Following his schooling, Gordon purchased his first parcel of land and then expanded in 1972. In 1964, Gordon married Lorraine Kachuik, this marriage ended in divorce. In 1977, Gordon sold his holdings in the Willow Bunch area and purchased a farm northeast of Assiniboia, SK. From 1970 to 1980 he held Highway Mail contracts. From 1979 to 1986, Gordon taught the Agricultural Air Conditioning Course for Wascana Institute, and in 1983, Gordon started Assiniboia Air Conditioning. In 2001, Gordon met Evelyn Clemence and together they managed the farm and the Air Conditioning business.
Gordon served on the Willow Bunch School Board for a number of years and was chairman of the Airport Board for the Town of Assiniboia. He enjoyed flying and traveling and was a member of the Assiniboia and District Flying Club. He also enjoyed watching baseball and curling on TV.
He was predeceased by parents, Willis and Elsie (nee Allsopp) Bradley, his brother Earl, sisters Jean (Jim) Paterson, and sister Lois DeBlois.
Gordon is survived by his wife Evelyn, his children Wendy (Bruce) Willis, Connie (Barry) Barsness, Carla (Ron) Cronan, Brian Bradley; stepchildren Lois (Mark) Fenrich, Richard (Shantelle) Fitch and their families, brother-in-law Larry DeBlois, nieces and nephews.
A private Graveside Service at Mount Hope Cemetery will be held. Donations in memory of Gordon may be made to the Diabetes Canada.
