Regina police investigate death; Major crimes called in

REGINA - The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, have begun a death investigation. Police and EMS were dispatched to a call for service at a residence on the 400 block of East College Avenue in the early morning hours on April 10 for a report of an injured adult male.

When police arrived, they located the male and started performing life-saving measures.  EMS arrived on scene and the male was declared deceased. 

Officers secured the scene and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit.

At this early stage of the investigation, Regina police say there are no further details that will be released to the public. They say the deceased male’s name will not be released at this time.
