Update: Blowing snow advisory lifted in the southeast

A blowing snow advisory is in effect for the southeast.

The blowing snow advisory for southeast Saskatchewan has been lifted.

Environment Canada lifted the advisory at 10:16 a.m. Friday although the southeast continues to be affected by strong winds, with gusts reaching 85 kilometres per hour. 

A freezing rain warning that was issued Thursday evening for the Estevan and Weyburn areas was lifted early Friday.
