A heat warning for the southeast has ended.

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - The heat warning that was in effect in southeast Saskatchewan has been lifted.

Environment Canada issued the warning early Sunday due to the high heat and humidex values that were in the forecast.

It was finally lifted in the southeast on Wednesday evening just after 8:30 p.m.

The high temperatures materialized, and the heat is expected to linger through Friday, but it's not going to be hot enough to warrant a heat warning.
