Security threats are always a growing challenge and implementing security measures have to be weighed against budget constraints.

South East Cornerstone Public School Division looked at a quarterly report during their public meeting.

Brief notes gleaned from the Dec. 18 public meeting of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division’s board of trustees.

Coming from such a large city, he wondered where they were taking his family when they went to Heward.

This year they received 103 donations for the auction and some of the items raised more than expected.

“Ken would be humbled with the comments made for him,” she added. “He always wanted to see people happy.”

This festival brings in many out-of-towners to shop in our community and to leave their dollars here where it will make a difference to our local organizations and businesses

There were plenty of things to do for the kids and they were well entertained, with a colouring contest, scavenger hunt and crafts.  Kendra Miller said there were lineups at all the kids' events, which also included face painting, temporary tattoos, and hair tinsel. Many of the children's activities were at the Golden Age Centre.
