ESTEVAN — The City of Estevan announced Thursday it is launching a new community engagement series.

Coffee with Council is a new monthly event series designed to foster open dialogue between residents and local leaders.

The initiative invites community members to join city council members for a casual coffee and conversation, offering an opportunity to discuss local issues, ask questions and share ideas that will help shape the future of Estevan.

The first event will take place on Feb. 21 from 9-11 a.m. at the Buzz Liquor Lounge located within Affinity Place. All residents are encouraged to attend and get involved in the discussion.

“We’re excited to launch this new series and offer residents a relaxed, informal space to connect directly with our city council,” said Jacquelyn Massey-Rounds, marketing and communications manager for the City of Estevan.

“Coffee with Council is a unique opportunity to hear from our community, exchange ideas and work together towards a brighter future for Estevan. We encourage everyone to stay tuned for upcoming dates and locations, and we look forward to the valuable conversations ahead.”

Future events will continue monthly, with dates and locations announced regularly to ensure as many residents as possible have the chance to participate.
