ESTEVAN - People in the Estevan area might notice an increased police presence in a couple of areas in the city Thursday as part of training initiatives.
According to the Estevan Police Service, the joint tactical support team, which includes officers from the Estevan and Weyburn police services, will be training in the vicinity of the 1900-block of First Street and the Willow Park Greens home park.
Officers are unsure of which trailers they will be in at Willow Park Greens.
The EPS says the public should not be alarmed by the number of officers in those areas because of the training.
