ESTEVAN - A GoFundMe campaign is now underway to help a southeast Saskatchewan woman who has experienced a tragedy.
Sherri Fenwick started the campaign to help bring her daughter Lynn home. According to the GoFundMe page, titled Lynn Fenwick help with funeral services, Lynn died suddenly on Feb. 21 in Edmonton.
Sherri said she is a single mother and she is asking for help as she wants her daughter's body brought back to Estevan to give her a proper funeral.
"Funerals are very expensive and even more expensive when you need your loved one to be brought to the province they were born and raised in," Sherri said. "I don't have dates yet as I am still working on getting my daughter back to Estevan.
"As soon as I get dates I will post them. But any help right now would be very grateful and appreciated. Thank you to everyone for the donations to help me give my beautiful daughter the funeral that she deserves."
As of the morning of March 27, the campaign had raised $1,603 of its $10,000 goal.
