ESTEVAN – The Estevan Sharks water polo club had a strong showing at the Community League finals in Regina on March 1-2, with several teams earning podium finishes.
The Mini U9 Blue Team captured gold, while the Mini U9 White Team secured bronze. In the Atom U12 Girls division, the Sharks joined forces with Humboldt and claimed bronze after a thrilling shootout victory.
The Atom U12 Boys placed fourth, while the Bantam U14 Girls finished fifth. The Bantam U14 Boys teamed up with Weyburn and took home bronze.
The team’s season will conclude with spring provincials in Saskatoon at the end of March.
