The wind warning that was in effect in southern Saskatchewan has come to an end. Strong winds still persist in many of the affected areas.

SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN - A wind warning was issued for much of southern Saskatchewan.
According to the warning, issued Wednesday morning, strong winds that may cause damage were expected or occurring. Wind gusts in excess of 90 kilometres per hour were expected Wednesday morning and into the afternoon.
"These significant wind gusts will diminish Wednesday evening," the advisory stated.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. Motorists, especially in high-profile vehicles, may expect hazardous driving conditions on highways subject to strong cross winds.
