Update: EPS arrests man wanted for uttering death threats

The Estevan Police Service has made an arrest in a case of uttering death threats.

UPDATE:

The Estevan Police Service has apprehended a man wanted for uttering death threats. 

Rielley George-Smith, age 21, turned himself in to the police station on Friday morning. 

 

On May 3, the EPS received a report of a man who had uttered threats to harm someone. Police were unable to locate and speak to the man that night.

The man was identified as George-Smith of Estevan. He was wanted for one count of uttering threats to cause death under the Criminal Code.

Police spoke to George-Smith by phone, and asked him to turn himself in, but he evaded arrest and police asked for the public for their assistance in locating him.
