ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service has charged a 41-year-old Estevan man for assault after an incident that occurred during a domestic disturbance Dec. 20 at a south Estevan residence.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on March 11, 2024.
Also that day, officers, along with the EPS police and crisis team (PACT) members, attended a north Estevan residence on the report of a domestic disturbance. The matter was defused upon police arrival, with one of the occupants agreeing to spend the night elsewhere.
Members attended to a north Estevan apartment on Dec. 19 for a report of a domestic disturbance. EPS members and the PACT unit attended, at which time the matter was calmed and resolved without further issue.
Members attended to a Northwest Estevan residence on a report of a possible break and enter as people were seen inside with flashlights. It was thought the residence was vacant, as it had been sold, but it was still occupied by the current owner pending the new owner’s possession date. The matter has been concluded.
