Fire contained in Regina townhouse

Lone occupant and pet safe.

REGINA – A townhouse fire kept crews busy this morning.

Just before 10:30 a.m., the Regina Fire Department responded to a call on the 3800 block of Dewdney Avenue East.

There was one person and a pet in the home at the time, both made it out safely.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to one unit, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
