The Saskatchewan RCMP says a situation that required an increased police presence at the White Bear First Nations has been resolved.

Two people have been taken into police custody.

Residents will continue to see a police presence in the area while the investigation into this incident is taking place. 

The RCMP said earlier Thursday that the Carlyle RCMP, along with additional RCMP resources, were at a scene in connection with an ongoing investigation.
