CAA Saskatchewan recently recognized nine contractors from across the province with the annual CAA Award of Excellence. This prestigious award recognizes contractors who provide consistent, valued and reliable emergency roadside assistance to CAA Members in their region, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The annual award is given to only a handful of the close to 200 CAA contractors in the province.

Weyburn's own Eric Fraser and Ryan Fraser of Lost Child Towing were presented with one of those awards.

"On behalf of CAA Saskatchewan, I congratulate this year's CAA Award of Excellence recipients and thank them for the outstanding service they provide year-round," said Kevin Lane, CAA Saskatchewan's Vice President of Automotive Services. "Each recipient partners with CAA to provide an essential service and a vital link to our Members. This award demonstrates our appreciation for these partnerships and also recognizes the outstanding value they provide to CAA Members in our province."

Roadside assistance is an integral part of the membership benefits and services provided to CAA Members. All roadside assistance calls in Saskatchewan are processed through a central dispatch system based in Regina and sent to the contractor nearest the location of the vehicle breakdown.

CAA Saskatchewan serves more than 185,000 members, offering benefits and services through its non-profit motor club; and through its travel and insurance agencies, and auto maintenance and repair facilities. CAA advocates for motorists and travellers, supporting traffic safety programs and addressing related public policy issues.
