Walk-in vaccine clinics set for Weyburn area school children

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has begun COVID-19 vaccine planning for children aged 12 and up. A number of walk-in vaccine clinics are scheduled for Weyburn, Radville and Ogema.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has begun COVID-19 vaccine planning for children aged 12 and up. A number of walk-in vaccine clinics are scheduled for Weyburn, Radville and Ogema. These clinics are for children aged 12-18 years old and will provide the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

As a reminder, when your child presents to the vaccine clinic, please ensure they are wearing a short-sleeved shirt and brings their health card and consent form. Parents are encouraged to attend with their child. However, their child is able to attend the clinic on their own with the signed consent.

Hard copies of a Pfizer vaccine information sheet, consent form, and after-care instructions will be available from the schools if requested.

The walk-in clinics for Weyburn will be held on Thursday and Friday, June 3 and 4; Thursday, June 10; Monday, June 14; Thursday, June 17 and Monday, June 21, all from 3 to 7 p.m.

The clinic is located at the Ebel’s Contracting building at 1560 New Garden City Road, with traffic to come up Highway 39 from Third Street. Organizers request that motorists do not cross Highway 39 from 16th Street.

A walk-in clinic will be held in Radville on Wednesday, June 9 from 3-7 p.m. at the Radville Rec Centre at 605 Main Street.

A clinic has also been set for Ogema on Wednesday, June 16, from 3-7 p.m. at the Ogema Heritage Hall.

Dates have also been set for Estevan on Thursday and Friday, June 3 and 4 from 4-7 p.m.; Saturday, June 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday, June 17 and Friday, June 18 from 4-7 p.m., all dates at the Church of God on Wellock Road.
