REGINA - With a major snow dump expected today in Regina, the city has declared snow routes in effect for the third time this season.
Starting at 6 a.m. Thursday, December 19, and running until 6 a.m. Friday, December 20. there is no on-street parking allowed along the identified snow routes for a 24-hour period. This will allow crews to plow the roads from curb to curb.
The snow routes are identified by blue signs featuring a white snowflake. There are forecasts of upwards of 15 to 25 cm of snow to fall until Thursday morning.
Vehicles which remain parked on the snow route during the ban will be ticketed, and could be towed.
