SWIFT CURRENT - Areas of the southwest are experiencing snow and in some areas, freezing rain. The Highway Hotline sent an alert at 2:35 p.m. that roads in the Swift Current area, including Highway 1 are not recommended for travel.
From Rush Lake to Swift Current, Highway 1 status is travel not recommended, with reduced visibility, loose snow, snow drifts, swirling snow and drifting snow.
At Swift Current, travel is not recommended due to zero visibility, ice, loose snow, snow drifts, swirling snow, and drifting snow.
Travel is not recommended on Shaunavon Highway 37 (Shaunavon to Gull Lake) due to zero visibility, loose snow, snow drifts, swirling snow, and drifting snow.
Morse Highway 363 is also seeing slush, snow drifts, and drifting snow.
Travel on Highway 19 is not recommended, also due to loose snow, snow drifts, swirling snow, and drifting snow.
