Charlene Tvait of Preeceville opened a new hair salon, known as Charlene's Shear Perfection, on September 5. The location of the new salon is 29 Second Avenue NE.
Tvait, who was raised in Porcupine Plain, graduated high school in 2015. She completed her courses and became a certified hair stylist in June 2017 after working for a brief time at a hair salon in Sturgis.
She moved to Preeceville two years ago and is excited to be offering her experience in all hair designs, cuts and styles. In the salon Tvait also offers hair extensions, colours and ear piercings by appointments.
"I am looking forward to meeting new clients and welcome walk-ins,” Tvait said. “The salon is open Monday to Friday and I am available for after-hours appointments.”
