SASKATOON – On Sept. 23 Saskatoon Police arrested a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Tonio Cantell, 25, appeared in Saskatoon court Sept. 26 on a charge of resisting a peace officer and Regina court on Sept. 28 on a charge of failing to appear in court.
Cantell was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant issued by Correctional Services Canada. He was on statutory release.
Court documents show that in June he was facing charges in Pierceland circuit court for uttering threats.
