SASKATOON - A Saskatoon man is facing a number of charges following a robbery on Saturday.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., on Jan. 14, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store in the 200 block of Pendygrasse Road. It was reported that a man entered the store, stole a cash box and struck the driver of a delivery truck at the business before fleeing on foot. Upon arrival, witnesses directed police to a parking lot in the 100 block of Clancy Drive where the suspect was located carrying a cash box. He was arrested without incident.
A 37-year-old man is charged with robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, assault, possession of methamphetamine and breach of probation. Police say they are continuing to investigate.
