SASKATOON — Commencing on Sunday, July 2, Saskatoon Transit will introduce routing and service adjustments to enhance the overall transit experience for its passengers.
Here's an overview of the upcoming changes:
Route 13 Avalon / Lawson Heights: The temporary detour in the Nutana neighbourhood will be permanent, resulting in improved efficiency and better schedule adherence. Keep an eye out for new bus stops along Clarence Ave.
Route 81/82 University / Centre Mall, Route 84 Briarwood / Centre Mall, Route 86 Rosewood / Centre Mall: To accommodate calming traffic devices and the proposed bike network, there will be slight adjustments to routing and bus stop locations. Pay attention to the new stops.
Route 43 City Centre / Evergreen, Route 44 City Centre / Willowgrove, Route 45 City Centre / Arbor Creek, Route 46 City Centre / 115th Street: Schedule adjustments throughout the day to ensure improved schedule adherence.
Route 6 Market Mall via Preston / Broadway (name changes): Route 6 will be split into two separate routes to clarify and eliminate confusion. Route 16 Eastview / University will operate from Market Mall to University and then Downtown, while Route 6 Wilson Crescent / City Center will cover the Market Mall to Eastview, Wilson Crescent, Broadway Ave, and Downtown.
