Dale Hnatuk was born on June 3, 1953 in the Insinger District of Saskatchewan, the son of Andrew and Violet (nee Moldowan) Hnatuk. He received his education in Theodore and earned his Education Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Dale lived every moment to the fullest. He was always willing to lend a hand to all his family and friends. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Dale's happiest times were spent with his wife, Gayle, his children and the treasured moments he shared with his grandchildren. Predeceased by his father, Andy Hnatuk, Dale will be sadly missed by his devoted wife, Gayle; his children, Shondell (Craig) Neithercut, Lynsay and Daelyn (Chris) Yaholnitsky; his grandchildren, Shelby Hnatuk, Mackenzee Neithercut, Kaiden Hnatuk, Jaagger Neithercut and Tanner Hnatuk. Also left to mourn his passing are his mother, Violett Hnatuk and his sister, Colleen (Bill) Hnatuk. Dale will be forever missed by all who held him close to their hearts. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church in Yorkton, SK. with the Very Reverend Mel Slashinsky officiating. The responses were led by Cantor, Gerald Yaholnitsky and the Cross Bearer was Shelby Hnatuk. The Interment followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery with Craig Neithercut, Chris Yaholnitsky, Conrad Raddysh, Wayne Moldown, Conrad Hnatiuk and Ray Danylko serving as the casket bearers. The Honorary Pall bearers were Mackenzee Neithercut, Kaiden Hnatuk, Jaagger Neithercut and Tanner Hnatuk.
