With immense sadness, the family of Darren Lyle "Trapper" Shingoose announce his sudden passing on Sunday, August 2, 2015 in Saskatoon, SK. He was 44 years of age. Trapper was predeceased by his Son, Windy Ray Quinney on August 2, 2015, his Father, Melvin Kenneth "Trapper" Shingoose; his Paternal Grandparents, Peter and Eliza Shingoose; his Maternal Grandparents, Gordon Papequash and Mary Brass; his Maternal Aunts and Uncles, Wilbert, Pete, Vernon (Edith) Doreen (Pollock) Josephine (Robert) Rita (Fred) Phyllis (Steve); his Paternal Aunts and Uncles, Yvonne, Faye, Margaret and his Brother In Law, Patrick Musqua. Trapper is survived by his wife, Erin; his children, Jonathan, Ritrisha (Anthony), Sienna, Skye, Kendra, Cruz; his Grandchildren, Meya Rae, Jaydee Rae, Areya; his step children, Chris, Brennan, Grace, Heaven; his Mother, Lillian Shingoose; his Siblings: Kenny (Rosey), Sheila (George), Lorraine (Barry), Cheryle (Wayne), Myrna (Randy), Marvin (Lillian), Eliza (Charles) and Peter; his Aunts and Uncles, Norman (Lorraine), Mabel (Harvey), Vera (Robert), Lorne (Margaret), Victreen (Darrell), Bernice, Sandra (Robert), Calvin (Nicole), Carleen, John (Arlene), Joseph (Donna), Andy (Sheila), Sandy, Fred (Donna), Eddie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Wake commenced on Monday, August 10, 2015 from the Yorkton Friendship Centre, Yorkton, SK. The Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from the Yorkton Friendship Centre with Reverend Darrell Cote officiating. The Interment Service followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery with Isaac Shingoose, Trevor Olson, Curt Shingoose, Cory Cadotte, John Gamble, Shaun Tourangeau, Joe Cote and Mike Roussin serving as the casket bearers. The Honourary Pallbearers were Sheldon Brass, Shannon Brass, Royce Cote, Cyril Quewezance, Ron Twin, Jeremy Southwind, Jeff Langan, Art Shingoose, Shane Bruno, Corey Opoonechow, JJ Cote, Calvin Brass, Jay Crowe-Buffalo, Marvin Shingoose, Peter Shingoose and MJ Merle Johnston.
