Collision north of Regina claims life of Piapot First Nation man

Police continue to investigate, working with Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.

REGINA – A collision at the intersection go Hwy 6 and Industrial Drive just north of the city claimed the life of a Piapot First Nation man..

On Nov. 25 at 3:40 a.m., White Butte RCMP received a call of a vehicle that struck a pole at that location.

“The adult male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene,” said RCMP in a media release. “He has been identified as a 37 year-old male from Piapot First Nation.”

The man’s family have been notified, and police continue to investigate with the assistance of a collision reconstructionist.
