This week, a number of citizens attended City Hall after receiving a text message from an unknown origin, inviting them to “pay their ticket” using an internet link provided within the body of the text.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continue to work with the Saskatchewan Coroner's Service to confirm the identity of the victim.

Officers also located and seized 258 grams of methamphetamine, a conducted energy weapon and a sum of cash.

The defence counsel said they are waiting to receive more outstanding disclosure in the case at this time.
