Regina police lay charges in October homicide investigation

One woman is facing a second degree murder charge in the death of Peri Redwood, who was found inside a Regina home in October.

REGINA — Regina police have announced charges laid in a homicide investigation that began in October, with one female suspect now in custody.

Police members responded to a death reported on Oct. 13 on the 1700 block of Ottawa Street, where one female victim was found inside a residence. 

Major Crimes began a homicide investigation, after identifying the victim as Peri Redwood, 24.

Police have now arrested a 23-year-old woman in relation to the investigation, who was located on Feb. 23 and taken into custody.

The accused has been charged with second degree murder and made her first appearance on this charge in provincial court on Thursday morning.
