In presenting the award, Kim Neithercut of Inclusion Weyburn praised the Communithon committee for their support of Inclusion Weyburn in the past few years.

The organization is one of the eight community agencies which are funded through Communithon's annual fundraiser event.

The telethon will start up at 8 a.m. on Oct. 25 at the Weyburn Legion Hall, and run to 11 p.m., with many local school and community groups and individuals performing throughout the day.

Some of the events will include Office Olympics, school choirs, local performers and a Minute-to-Win it competition, which will feature the Weyburn Eagles football team and the Gold Wings girls hockey team.
